In, The United States Americans run on what is known as, Monochronic timing. Monochronic time is the way in which people decided to do a certain task one after the next. In this way, you are able to manage your time in completing something before jumping into something else and having an organized schedule. In American society, it is important to look your best especially when you are of higher authority. In the case of FLOTUS, Melania Trump her fashion choices have brought a lot of people to raise their eyebrows and question themselves whether or not it is first lady acceptable. Melania received many criticisms after she boarded Air Force One in, “needle-thin” black heels to a site of natural disaster in the state of Texas. Many times people have busy schedules, especially being the first lady of The United States and decide to take a turn or change in them. It may have been possible for Melania to want to look presentable before she wore the more, “acceptable” and comfortable attire to visit the natural disaster site. She could have also been caught during a meeting or commitment planned long before she had to board this plane, or simply could have just felt comfortable in this shoe choice. When Air Force One landed, Melania appeared to have a change in her outfit that looks like a more, “appropriate” choice for the type of event wearing white sneakers, white button down long sleeve shirt, and a black hat. To sum it all up, why are shoes so important to people during a time where the lives of many families are in danger?
